I've been doing some soul searching lately and it includes meditation. If you know me, you know I  do not love to sit still. But for 40 minutes a day for 2 weeks I've been doing just that. Just listening and taking it all in.

My Mindset Coach Christa Molter recommended the book by Dr. Joe Dispenza, Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself It has been incredible and has a guided meditation through it.

In part of his book, he mentions, more than once, the fact that less than 5% of all diseases today stem from single-gene disorders (such as Tay-Sachs and Huntington's) whereas around 95% of all illnesses are related to life-style choices, chronic stress, and toxic factors to the environment. Yep, read that again. I've actually done some research the last few days and there are countless studies that support this. Wow. Wow. Wow.

So, while only toxic factors are part of the picture they are in no doubt a big part of the picture. He goes on to say changing out thoughts and feelings is also a big contributor into the health of ourselves.

I  don't know about you but that has me feeling oh so empowered. While I've always been passionate about sharing wellness with others this has lit a fire under my booty once again. So, friends, ditch that toxic, chemical causing crap in your home to the curb and just as importantly, start thinking and feeling good thoughts about yourself and your life. Change can happen, and wonderful, exhilarating changes in your life at that.
